Chilly day but temps were supposed to get into the high 40's. Don't think that ever happened. Water temps in the mid 40's so the fish weren't real active.
Did catch a couple of these things. Chubs. But, like they say...a fish is a fish.
Ed fishing a nice hole. The water levels were perfect and deeper holes were abundant in this section of the stream.
I have no doubt that there are more fish here but they just didn't like what we were offering.
I did get a couple of brookies. They hit, I set the hook and they wiggled so hard they threw the hook before I could get them to the net.
Really beautiful section of stream. I'll have to hit this in dry fly season. (That's not too far away)
Another non trout species. Not a chub but maybe a black nose dace?
Had to use some weight to get to the bottom of these holes.
